M.Sc, RSLP, Registered Speech Language Pathologist (Conditional)
Christine is currently a fourth year undergraduate student at UBC who's aspiring to be a speech language pathologist one day. She's been volunteering at West Coast Speech since June of 2021 and is always happy to assist in office work or to supply materials for any of the SLPs in their sessions. Outside of volunteering, she enjoys working as a behavioural interventionist and playing tennis.
Effie recently finished her undergrad and will be continuing her studies in UBC’s Masters of Speech Language Pathology program this fall. She looks forward to helping out and building connections at the clinic every week. Beyond volunteering, she enjoys nature and going on walks
Margaux always puts a smile on our faces when she shows up to volunteer. She is going to make a wonderful SLP one day.
As per the safety guidelines set by the BC College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia, the Provincial Health Organization and WorkSafe BC all clients must
1) complete a COVID-19 self assessment survey and 2) understand the safety protocols implemented at our office prior to their therapy session.
These protocols were developed with the goal of reducing the risk of exposure to the virus that causes Covid-19 for the clients and therapists within our clinical setting. The Protocols will be updated as needed.
