Kim Bennett is a graduate of the 2020 UBC School of Audiology and Speech Sciences Speech Language Pathology Program. She is a conditional member of the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia (CSHBC) and a member of Speech and Audiology Canada (SAC).
With an extensive background in theatre and dramatic arts, Kim is passionate about integrating dramatic play and storytelling into her work as a Speech Language Pathologist and has particular interest in the development of social and pragmatic skills through the use of Reader’s Theatre and improvisation.
Kim is committed to pursuing a family-centred practise, emphasizing the role of all family members in the therapeutic process. When not in the clinic, Kim is a competitive long-distance runner, having recently completed the Boston and New York City Marathons.
