Leanne Doyle graduated from The National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG) in 2019. She is a conditional member of the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHBC). She is also fully certified by The Irish Association of Speech & Language Therapists (IASLT).
Leanne began her SLP career working in a private clinic for clients aged 0 – 18 years old with special educational needs. She then joined the public sector in Ireland, working on The Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) with preschoolers and their families before moving to Vancouver in 2023. Leanne has experience working with children targeting goals in areas such as articulation, receptive and expressive language, social communication, fluency and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
Leanne believes in play based, family centred services. She believes in the value of empowering and educating parents and caregivers to be the most effective communication partners for their child. She is passionate about setting functional and practical goals that can be embedded into day-to-day activities. Leanne is certified by the Hanen Centre to offer the “More Than Words” program.
In her free time, Leanne enjoys reading, hiking, running and kayaking.
