CHELSEA MONAGHAN

Chelsea is a registered speech language pathologist with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia (CSHHP) and holds certification from Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC) as well as Speech and Hearing British Columbia (SHBC). She is certified in the Hanen It Takes Two to Talk program and has training in facilitating Supported Conversation for Adults with Aphasia (SCA). After graduating from the UBC School of Audiology and Speech Sciences in the Speech-Language Pathology program in 2012, Chelsea has gained extensive experience working in hospital and rehabilitation settings. She collaborates with other healthcare professionals to support adults facing communication challenges associated with neurodegenerative disorders, stroke, and brain injury. Chelsea enjoys working with both children and adults, striving to help them achieve their communication goals through a client and family-centred approach. In her spare time, Chelsea enjoys reading, baking, dancing, camping, and trail running.
