Vanessa Young is a Registered Speech – Language Pathologist who has a wide breadth of experience working with children and their families. Vanessa is registered by the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia, and is certified by the British Columbia Association of Speech – Language Pathologists and Audiologists (BCASLPA), and the Canadian Association of Speech – Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA). Vanessa is a Registered Autism Service Provider (RASP) and has trained in the Lidcombe approach to fluency and the Hanen It Takes Two to Talk program. Upon graduating from the Masters program at the School of Audiology and Speech Sciences at the University of British Columbia in 2001, Vanessa has worked collaboratively with children and their families, educators, and other team members using a family centred approach.
