Shadi is registered with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia (CSHHP) and is certified by Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC) and British Columbia Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologist (BCASPLA). Shadi is on the Registry of Autism Service Providers (RASP). She has worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Pediatrics since 2012.

Shadi Asadi strives to build confidence in the children and families she works with. Her clinical experience collaborating on a variety of interdisciplinary teams has allowed her to closely consider factors that support a child’s development. What makes Shadi most excited about her job is when a child confidently communicates their needs in a therapy room, on a playground, and at a birthday party. 

Shadi has strong clinical skills with early intervention, preschool and school-aged children. She has provided assessment and treatment for various speech-language functions including: articulation, oral-motor speech, phonological, and receptive/expressive language.  She is most interested in using her clinical skills with children in bilingual and multilingual families, children on the Autism Spectrum and children with social pragmatic needs.
