Rachel is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia. She is passionate about fostering meaningful connections and building confidence through holistic, evidence-based practice, while helping clients apply their skills outside of therapy. Rachel values collaborating closely with clients, families, and interprofessional teams to best support each client’s goals.
Rachel has experience supporting individuals of all ages. With children, she has supported augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), social communication, speech sound disorders, literacy, and executive functioning. With adults, Rachel has supported communication and swallowing changes following stroke, brain injury, and neurodegenerative diseases. Her clinical interests span both paediatric and adult populations, including language development, acquired language and cognitive-communication disorders, voice, and dysphagia.
Rachel completed her Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at UBC’s School of Audiology and Speech Sciences in 2026, following a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Sciences and a minor in Early Childhood Education, also at UBC.
In her spare time, Rachel enjoys baking, pottery, crafting, bouldering, and spending time outdoors!
